BetterZip 4.2.1

If there is data on the hard disk that is rarely used, in order to save disk space, it makes sense to pack such files and folders into archives. For this purpose it is necessary to use an archiver program, for example, the BetterZip utility. 
This application allows you to compress data using different packaging algorithms, while reducing the original file size. In addition, the program can perform various actions with file archives without unpacking their contents. For example, using BetterZip, you can view the contents of archives and extract only individual data from them. 

Archiver supports work with files and folders using the Drag & Drop method. The program can update existing archives by adding or removing individual data from them, as it is implemented in the system when working with ordinary folders.

The program uses the function of previewing compressed data. With its help, you can view various types of files placed in the archive without using additional applications for this purpose. For example, the program allows you to view graphic files, documents in PDF format, HTML files, text documents, etc. The utility has a built-in search option, similar to the similar function in iTunes. 

The utility supports a large number of popular data compression standards, including: ZIP, SIT, TAR, GZip, BZip2, RAR, 7-Zip, CPIO, ARJ, LZH / LHA, JAR, WAR, CAB, ISO, CHM, RPM, DEB , NSIS, BIN, HQX, DD. Support for the popular RAR format in the BetterZip archiver is implemented using an external RAR module. 

Usually, these archives have the following extensions:
.zip, .jar, .war, .ear, .sar, .par, .wsr, .rar, .cbz, .cbr, .tar, .tgz, .tbz, .gz, .bz, .bz2, .cpio , .cpgz, .7z, .lha, .lzh, .arj, .iso, .chm, .cab, .deb, .rpm., .sit, .dd, .bin, .hqx. 

Supports archives:
ZIP, TAR, GZip, BZip2, ARJ, LZH, ISO, CHM, CAB, CPIO, RAR, 7-Zip, DEB, and RPM.
