macOS Mojave 10.14 (18A391)
macOS 10.14 Mojave, the latest version of Apple’s proprietary operating system, which is admittedly the best software platform for desktops and laptops, will surprise owners of compatible devices with an expanded range of functionality and a focus on automating many everyday processes.

Dark theme in macOS Mojave
macOS Mojave was the first version of Apple's desktop OS with support for a dark theme. The mode darkens the shades of the interface in such a way that working with a Mac is as comfortable as possible, regardless of the time of day or the ambient lighting conditions. Blackout is available for desktop and embedded Mac applications.

Stacks
The function with the unusual name “Stacks” allows you to automate ordering on the desktop. It is able to independently group files depending on their extension, creation date, or other features, corresponding to your personal ideas about the order.

Finder
When creating macOS, Mojave Apple has done a fair amount of work on Finder, expanding its functionality. Now the Gallery View is available in the Finder with the ability to preview thumbnails of files, as well as their metadata - for the most convenient management and interaction with them. In addition, you can now make adjustments to the multimedia files from the Finder, trimming and turning them, and also protect documents with a password without having to open them in full size.

News, Promotions, Voice Recorder and Home Apps
These four applications were previously exclusively available on the iPhone, but with the release of macOS Mojave appeared on the Mac. With their help, users will be able to learn the most relevant news, follow the course of securities, manage devices from the “smart home” series and comfortably make voice notes and even record entire lectures.

Group calls on FaceTime
The group calls feature on FaceTime, which appeared in the early beta builds of iOS 12 and macOS Mojave and allowed to convene video conferences with up to 32 participants, turned out to be more difficult to implement than thought in Cupertino. This is probably why Apple postponed the release of the innovation, promising to fix all the problems later this fall.

New Mac App Store
In macOS Mojave, Apple has completely redesigned the Mac App Store, unifying its design with the App Store for iOS. Now the Mac application store has become even more user-friendly, informative and useful due to the additional tabs with software and editorial materials. By downloading applications from the App Store, you can still be sure that you are not running into a virus or trojan.

Prohibition of tracking in Safari
As in iOS 12, Safari for macOS has gained additional features to prevent users from tracking while surfing the web. Improved Intelligent Tracking Prevention now limits the tracking of your actions even when sharing and content likes, as well as leaving comments on websites and social networks.

Availability
Along with the functions described above, the capabilities of the Continuity mode were enhanced in macOS Mojave. Now Mac users can get quick access to images, screenshots and scans of documents taken on an iPhone or iPad, to edit them immediately and share via email or in any other way.
